Refund & Cancellation Policy

What happens to a payment once a plan is active — and what to do if something goes wrong.

In short

Plan payments are final and non-refundable, because paid features unlock the moment your payment is confirmed. Plans never auto-renew. If you were charged twice, or paid and did not receive your plan, contact us and we will put it right.

Refunds

1.1 Plan fees are non-refundable

  • All payments for Kongu Pro and Kongu Elite are final
  • This includes any unused portion of a plan, and applies whether or not you found a match
  • Access to paid features — contact views, full profile views and premium matching — is granted immediately once your payment is confirmed, so the service is delivered in full at the moment of purchase

1.2 Cancelling a plan

  • You may stop using your plan at any time and you may delete your account at any time from Settings
  • Neither cancels the plan fee or creates a refund, because the plan has already been delivered
  • A plan simply stops at the end of the days it was bought for

No auto-renewal

2.1 Plans do not renew by themselves

  • There is no recurring charge, no subscription and no mandate placed on your card, bank account or UPI ID
  • A plan runs for the number of days stated when you bought it and then stops
  • To continue after a plan ends, you buy a new plan. Nothing is charged unless you do

When we do put it right

A refund is different from a payment that went wrong, and the following are payment errors rather than refund requests. Contact us and we will resolve them.

3.1 Situations we correct

  • You were charged more than once for the same plan
  • Money left your account and no plan was activated within a few hours
  • You were charged an amount that does not match the plan price shown at checkout

3.2 What to send us

  • The mobile number registered on your Kongu Kalyanam account
  • The date and amount of the payment
  • The transaction or reference number from your bank, card or UPI app

3.3 How long it takes

  • We aim to respond within 2 working days
  • Where a correction is due, it is returned to the original payment method
  • Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to post it, typically 5 to 7 working days

Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute can. You retain every right you have with your bank or card issuer, and nothing in this policy removes a right given to you by law.

Compliance

This policy is governed by the laws of India and forms part of our Terms of Service. Any disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
